Lancaster Gate Celebrates Harvest Festival with Families and Children
This past weekend, Lancaster Gate came alive with the spirit of gratitude and celebration as over 40 children and their families gathered for a joyful Harvest Festival, organised by the Children's Ministry and North of Thames community.
The event honoured the season's harvest and was a time to give thanks to our Heavenly Parent and True Parents for the blessings in our lives.
Following the service, families enjoyed a full line-up of activities: games, races, face painting, arts and crafts, music, and delicious food. A decorated photo booth featuring pumpkins and autumn leaves was a favorite, offering families the chance to capture memories of the day. Each child received a gift bag with a fall activity book, colouring pens, and a few sweet treats.
Among the attendees was a young family new to the community, who recently connected with FFWPU through a two-day workshop. The event drew such enthusiasm that every room was filled to capacity—prompting thoughts of finding a larger venue for next year’s celebration!
The festival was blessed with warm sunshine and a tremendous outpouring of gratitude from parents, who praised the team’s hard work in creating a beautiful day for the children. Huge thanks go to the North of Thames team and all the volunteers who brought this special day to life.
