Reconnecting to Sacred Roots Across South Korea: A Spiritual Journey for the Youth

The Hyojeong Youth Pilgrimage in South Korea is a transformative 21-day journey that takes participants to significant spiritual landmarks. This pilgrimage, now in its growth stage, provides young participants the opportunity to visit key sites associated with the history of the Unification movement.

After spending a week receiving spiritual guidance, the group set out across South Korea, visiting places that hold deep historical and spiritual significance. These include locations where key figures in the movement lived, prayed, and built significant landmarks.

The journey began at the HJ Heaven & Earth CheonBo Training Centre and continued to the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) in Imjingak, Paju, and then onto Seoul, Yongpyong, and Busan. The youth participants from across Europe and the Middle East visited these sites to deepen their connection with the movement's roots and history.

A highlight of the pilgrimage was the Peace Rally held at the DMZ, where participants joined together in prayer for the reunification of North and South Korea, a symbolic act of hope for peace. Following this, they explored historical locations in Seoul, including the former headquarters where significant events in the movement took place, such as weddings and the births of key figures.

The group also visited the Hannam-dong residence, a site considered to have powerful spiritual energy. This location holds a special place in the movement's history, as it was a gathering spot for leaders and members to receive teachings and celebrate important events.

The pilgrimage continued with a visit to Yongpyong Resort, where participants enjoyed some relaxation and entertainment, including a water park and music festival. The group also visited the residence of key figures in Yongpyong and took in the natural beauty of the area.

Finally, the pilgrimage concluded with a visit to Busan, where they reflected on the movement's origins and the prayers for world peace that were offered at significant locations.

This pilgrimage not only allowed participants to explore the physical sites but also to connect deeply with the history and spiritual foundations of the movement, offering a profound experience of reflection, growth, and unity.
