Unity and Faith: A Call Amid Korea's Political Turmoil

In light of South Korea’s recent declaration of martial law, which was quickly overturned amidst intense political backlash, members are called to demonstrate unity and steadfast faith.

South Korea experienced a brief but impactful political upheaval on December 3, 2024, when martial law was declared by President Yoon Suk Yeol. Though lifted just six hours later following a swift parliamentary vote, the declaration highlighted the nation’s deep political divisions and ongoing instability

Amid these events, our Founder’s vision for Korea as the homeland of our Heavenly Parent remains unwavering. This crisis calls us to reflect deeply on our role in fostering a culture of love, unity, and peace. While the turmoil underlines the challenges facing Korea, our faith and dedication can provide the stability and hope needed during this time.

A Call for Unity and Faith
Now more than ever, it is crucial to demonstrate the maturity of our faith by avoiding divisive behaviours and political alignment. Our Founders have always taught us that our mission transcends politics. Instead, we are called to champion Heavenly Parentism—a principle rooted in love and harmony.

Our collective prayers and sincere devotion can help navigate this challenging period. Just as our Founders envisioned, a united and spiritually-centered Korea can rise from this moment of crisis.

Let us join together in faith, trusting that Heaven will guide Korea towards restoration and peace.

With gratitude and hope,
Family Federation Leadership
